Hot Musical Talent Hits the Jubilee

This month, the Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium welcomes Juno-award winning chanteuse Chantal Kreviazuk with special guest Raine Maida. Best known as a vocal star, the Winnipeg-born classically trained pianist is also an acclaimed songwriter. Hear Chantal Kreviazuk along with her husband Raine Maida (lead singer of Our Lady Peace), at 7:30 p.m., Wednesday February 14.

Famed blues guitarist Colin James brings his Little Big Band to the Jubilee stage Friday, February 23. The first Canadian artist ever signed to Virgin Records, Colin James has sold over a million records worldwide. Hear this multi-award winning artist, with music from his tenth and latest album, Colin James and The Little Big Band 3.

And, don’t miss the annual Calgary Kiwanis Music Festival, beginning March 5. It’s one of North America’s biggest amateur classical music festivals, with performers (aged 5 to 25) competing in piano, vocal, musical theatre, string, speech, woodwind, brass, percussion, guitar and ensemble categories.
