On Monday, May 12th, 2008, CIBC will present An
Evening with Howie Mandel at the Southern Alberta
Jubilee Auditorium in Calgary, in support of The Owen
Hart Foundation at The Calgary Foundation. This event will
raise funds for The Owen Hart Foundation at
The Calgary Foundation. (Charitable number 108074436 RR0001)
While Howie Mandel has remained a constant force in
show business for over 30 years, he has been thrust back in
the spotlight as the host of what has become a national
phenomenon "Deal or No Deal." The show has become an
instant hit and is consistently one of the most watched
programs each week. Howie Mandel’s versatile career
has encompassed virtually all aspects of the entertainment
spectrum, including television, film and stage. From his
work on the Emmy-Award winning “St. Elsewhere,” to the
international (and also Emmy nominated) “Bobby’s World,”
Howie has become a mainstay of the American comedy
scene.
The Owen Hart Foundation
The Owen Hart Foundation was established in December 2000
to honor the memory of wrestler Owen Hart, a great Canadian
who will be remembered for his outstanding contribution to
a number of charities as well as his sincere kindness to
all people. The Owen Hart Foundation is a permanent legacy
that will continue to help those in need for generations to
come. The Owen Hart Foundation’s mandate is to Empower
Students and Inspire Underprivileged Families.
