Car Park to be Constructed
at Jubilee Auditorium
Attention Jubilee Auditorium parking lot users
Construction of a new car park next to the Jubilee Auditorium is expected to begin mid-October 2007.
The new car park will replace the parking spots displaced by the future construction of the Edmonton Clinic North at the east end of the existing Jubilee surface lot. Construction of the Edmonton Clinic North building is expected to begin in early 2008.

How does this affect me?
- Alternate parking locations will be available at nearby University of Alberta lots during construction.
- The existing number of handicapped spaces in the Jubilee parking lot will be maintained. Drop-offs at the north doors will continue. The southeast doors will remain open, but drop-offs at those doors will be limited to DATS vehicles.
- The north-south accesses and the access from 114 Street will remain in place during the construction of the car park.
- Long term, there will be no change in the number of parking spaces as a result of the construction of the car park or the Edmonton Clinic.
- The new car park will be available for use by Jubilee patrons, who will have priority parking access for all performances.
What do I do?
- Arrive 30 minutes earlier than usual.
- Parking is available nearby at Varsity Field, Education and Stadium.
- Parking at these lots will cost $4 on performance nights. The lots will be staffed, and Jubilee patrons will have priority for parking. Parking passes will be honoured at these lots.
- Additional parking is available at the U of A Hospital underground car park (no priority for Jubilee patrons). Jubilee patrons will be asked to produce a ticket stub upon exit to receive the $4 Jubilee performance parking rate.
- Shuttle service will be provided from the Stadium car park for all performances, starting one hour before show time. Return shuttle service to Stadium will also be provided after each performance. Patrons who are not disabled but have mobility issues should proceed to Stadium or arrange to be dropped off.

Tickets are on sale now for the Edmonton performance of one of North America’s
comedy icons — George Carlin.
For more than four decades, revolutionary stand-up comedian, actor, author and
social commentator George Carlin has used his razor-sharp humour and
irreverent attitude to tackle controversial, even taboo subjects with an audacious
wit that few others have matched. Carlin remains unabashedly forthright,
tackling subject matter that few in his audience would dare express themselves.
Politics, religion, language — he is not only distinguished by his bold choice of
content, but also his unique viewpoints on the hypocrisies of this world and his
“in your face” delivery.
Carlin brings his rebel attitude to Edmonton’s
Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium for an adult show, and what is sure to be
the hottest ticket of the new year.
