Want to know what it's like
to work in the arts???
Make a PLAY date with us!
The Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium introduces a new community initiative. PLAY invites Grade 12 students to spend the weekend of July 4, 5 and 6, 2008 learning about jobs in the arts.
We are inviting artists, theatre technicians and arts administration professionals to share everything they know with students. The weekend promises to be an amazing opportunity; hands-on. On stage, backstage, and behind the glitter; students will be exposed to as much variety as possible. There will be time for networking and fun. Registration is available now.
Stay tuned to our website for details as they are released.

The Kids in the Hall
Sunday, May 18, 2008
7 PM

The Kids in the Hall, the watershed comedy troupe of the 1990s, return to their live-performance roots after six years, featuring the original five; Dave Foley, Bruce McCulloch, Kevin McDonald, Mark McKinney and Scott Thompson.
The tour, titled Live As We'll Ever Be, will be in Winnipeg, Calgary, Edmonton, London and Toronto. Brought to you by Russell &
Clayton Peters Presents and Hugh B Presents, Live As We'll Ever Be represents a new era in the
troupe's collaboration, and is comprised of completely fresh material which simultaneously reflects who they
are now and their patently off-kilter take on ordinary life.
Favourite characters from the television series appear in entirely new situations, sharing the stage with
new KITH personas which are destined for the same level of cult adoration. In a world where most
entertainment tries to play it safe, The Kids in the Hall steadfastly refuse to follow the trend, preferring
instead to slaughter sacred cows and look at the world — and each other — with refreshing honesty.
Join The Kathies, Headcrusher, the Sales Guys, Buddy Cole, and people you've never met before (but somehow recognize from your everyday life) on an adventure into the bizarre and side-splittingly funny.
