The Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium is pleased to partner with and host Visual Arts Alberta's is 4th annual photography competition & exhibition. This is the third year that the exhibition and opening reception celebration have taken place in the Kaasa Gallery.
OPEN PHOTO 2011 exhibits some of Alberta's finest photographers. Visual Arts Alberta received an overwhelmingly positive response to this open call and all applications went through a selective jurying process. This process resulted in 55 beautiful photos on display. Our guest juror: Eleanor Lazare selected from those 55 pieces the best over-all photograph, as well as several honorable mentions. Be sure to see the existing show, in the Kaasa Gallery until October 10.
If you are closer to the Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium, the award winning photos will go on to be exhibited in Calgary in the Alcove Gallery for the months of October and November 2011.
