Rental schedule effective April 1, 2016 for the Main Theatre (Twelve-Hour Facility Rental) are as follows:
MAIN THEATRE RENTAL RATES
Greater of $6,500.00 or 10% of Gross Box Office Receipts (not including GST) up to a maximum of $14,000.00
TWO PERFORMANCES ON THE SAME DAY:
Greater of $8,000.00 or 10% of Gross Box Ofﬁce Receipts (not including GST) up to a maximum of $22,500.00
SINGLE PERFORMANCE - STATUTORY HOLIDAY:
Greater of $7,025.00 or 10% of Gross Box Ofﬁce Receipts (not including GST) up to a maximum of $15,125.00
EXTRA FIT-UP/REHEARSAL DAY:
$3,250.00 (50% of the base rental on a single performance day)
Plus $2.35 per seat sold for all events PLUS GST AND CREDIT CARD CHARGES. *A minimum number of 1000 paid tickets is required. Should you not meet the minimum attendance, a surcharge of $2.35 PLUS GST will be added to your settlement for all unpaid tickets up to 1000.
Your 12-hour Facility Rental Includes:
Performances held Monday through Saturday
Performance held on a Sunday or Statutory Holiday
At all times, any activity on stage must be supervised by the House Technicians. The total number of stagehands required for the performance, must be determined by the House Technicians in consultation with the licensee.
Any additional technicians to set up or to run your event will be supplied and billed through I.A.T.S.E.
If the performance runs longer than three hours, the extra time to address additional Front-of-House staff hours shall be billed to the promoter at $1,000.00 per hour or part thereof.
Note: Rental includes use of the Mainstage and associated lobbies, Green Room, Wardrobe Room, Dressing Rooms, Chorus Lounge, Musician's Lounge and Conductor's Suite. All other auxiliary spaces will chared per the current rate sheet.
Performance Intermission — At any performance exceeding one hour, excepting religious services and commencement exercises, the Licensee shall provide at least one 20-minute intermission. The Licensee shall pay the Minister an additional fee of $1000.00 if there is no such intermission.
Cancellation of Performance — If for any reason the performance on the premises will not take place, the Licensee shall at its expense inform the public of this fact through normal media information sources. If the Licensee cancels a performance within 72 hours of the scheduled time of the performance, the Licensee shall pay the full rental amount required under this License Agreement as if the performance were to occur.
