Rental schedule effective  April 1, 2011 for the Main Theatre (Twelve-Hour Facility Rental) are as follows:

RENTAL RATES

 

SINGLE PERFORMANCE:

Greater of $6,500.00 or 10% of Gross Box Office Receipts (not including GST) up to a maximum of  $14,000.00

TWO PERFORMANCES ON THE SAME DAY:

Greater of $8,000.00 or 10% of Gross Box Office Receipts (not including GST) up to a maximum of  $22,500.00

SINGLE PERFORMANCE - STATUTORY HOLIDAY

Greater of 7,025.00 or 10% of Gross Box Office Receipts (not including GST) up to a maximum of $15,125.00

EXTRA FIT-UP/REHEARSAL DAY

$3,250.00 (50% of the base rental on a single performance day)

Plus $2.00 per seat sold for all events (minimum $750.00) PLUS GST AND CREDIT CARD CHARGES or $750.00 per performance on free event.   PLUS GST

Included in the 12 hour facility rental:

  • fit-up and/or rehearsal time
  • performance time*
  • strike time
  • Front-Of-House included for performance
  • One Stage Carpenter, one Stage Electrician and one Audio Technician for eight (8) hours each                  
 Performances held Monday – Saturday
  • Hours over eight (8) will be billed to you at $65.00** per hour for each technician up to 12 hours.
  • Hours over twelve (12) will be billed to you at $85.00** per hour for each technician. 

 Performances held on Sunday and Statutory Holiday

  • Hours over eight (8) will be billed at $85.00** per hour for each technician.
To ensure no penalties, meal breaks should be given after four hours of work. Lack of a 1-hour meal break after 5 hours, will result in an additional chargeof  $42.50** per hour, for each technician affected, until a break is taken.
 
At all times, any activity on stage must be supervised by the House Technicians. The total number of stagehands, required for the performance, must be determined by the House Technicians in consultation with the licensee.
 
Any additional technicians required to set up or run your event will be supplied and billed through I.A.T.S.E.
 
If you require additional fit-up, rehearsal or strike time over and above the allotted rental, you will be billed additionally at the rate of $250.00 per hour or part thereof.
 
*If the performance runs longer than three hours, then the extra time to address additional Front-of-House staff hours shall be billed to the promoter.
 
Note: Rental includes use of the Main Stage and associated lobbies, Green Room, Wardrobe Room, Dressing Rooms, Chorus Lounge, Musician's Lounge and Conductor's Suite. All other auxiliary spaces will be charged per the current rate sheet.
 
Performance Intermission — At any performance exceeding one hour, excepting religious services and commencement exercises, the Licensee shall provide at least one 20-minute intermission. The Licensee shall pay the Minister an additional fee of $1000.00 if there is no such intermission.
 
Cancellation of Performance — If for any reason the performance on the premises will not take
place, the Licensee shall at its expense inform the public of this fact through normal media information sources. If the Licensee cancels a performance within 72 hours of the scheduled time of the performance, the Licensee shall pay the full rental amount required under this License Agreement as if the performance were to occur.
